Believe it or not but there are various natural remedies for warts that can be used to clear your skin of these unwanted skin growths. These skin growths can show up on pretty much any area of your body. Warts aren't life threatening and they won't cause another condition to develop, but they are very contagious and they don't look good. Finding a way to get rid of warts is essential if you don't want to be self conscious about your skin.

When it comes to wart removers there are many options available. Some people suffering from warts will decide to go with their doctor's recommendation, which involves over the counter drugs like salicylic acid. This acid works by burning off the warts from yoru skin. As you can imagine this acid can eventually do harm to your skin and cause some serious irritation. Cryotherapy is another treatment method that doctors will often recommend to people suffering from warts. With cryotherapy the warts are removed by freezing them off. This freezing method can be pricey so make sure you talk to your doctor about insurance to cover the costs of these procedures.

If you don't have the money or you're just scared of the idea of using acid and freezing methods to remove your warts then it's in your best interest to give some remedies a try. One of the best home remedies for warts is tape. First you will need to soak the wart in warm soapy water and then scrape it down with a pumice stone. After you scrape the warts you should then apply a piece of duct tape big enough to cover up all your skin warts. Leave the tape on for about a week making sure you change the tape with a fresh piece each day. After about 3 months you'll notice that your warts are reducing in size until they are fully gone. Once you remove the tape take the pumice stone again and scrub off any warts that may be left behind after this remedy.

Using apple cider vinegar has been used for a natural wart removal for years. The great thing about using ACV is the fact that it's cheap to use and you might have it inside your kitchen already. Soak a small piece of cotton ball in the vinegar and apply the soaked cotton ball on the infected area. Place a bandaid over the cotton ball to keep it in position before removing it. The best time to apply this method is at night right before you go to sleep. Then when you wake up in the morning you remove the cotton ball and then wash off your face.
